Our Story Begins Here

We are a not-for-profit organisation offering information and support for the practice of safe and comfortable babywearing.

About Us

Our vision is for an Ireland where safe and comfortable babywearing is a common practice.

We host volunteer-led sling meets where carers learn safe babywearing, borrow carriers, and build community.

Through shared experience and commitment to safety, we create a village of support for parents and carers.

Our goal: Foster connection, empower informed choices, and provide a welcoming space where every family feels supported.

Our Values

  • In leading with compassionate support we recognise that every journey is unique and strive to meet all caregivers with empathy, patience, and understanding. Through our sling meets and online presence we aim to create safe, inclusive spaces where families feel seen, heard, and supported without judgement. We aim to empower caregivers with kindness and respect, fostering connection and confidence wherever they are on their babywearing journey.

  • We prioritise safety in all aspects of babywearing. Our sling meets enable peer-to-peer education and knowledge sharing and we aim to facilitate access to up-to-date, evidence-based best practices in order to empower caregivers with the knowledge and skills to use carriers confidently and correctly.

  • Togetherness is at the heart of everything we do: Our aim is to build connections - between parent and child, among families, and with the wider community. We aim to help caregivers find a sense of belonging and create meaningful bonds through shared experiences of babywearing.

  • Babywearing should feel good - for both caregiver and child. We support families in finding comfortable, practical solutions that fit their unique needs and lifestyles. Beyond physical comfort, we promote emotional ease - offering reassurance, calm, and a friendly space where parents can relax and be themselves.

Safety is paramount when carrying your baby. Please ensure that you use your carrier in line with the manufacturers guidelines and also refer to the T.I.C.K.S guideline for safe babywearing.
